THRUST HYDROSTATIC RELEASE UNIT

THRUST is a hydrostatic release unit, approved in accordance to EU/MED standards, and specially designed for use in emergency situations on ships and offshore installations to automatically release liferafts, when manual activation is not possible. THRUST HRU is very simple to use and easily portable. It allows for quick and easy installation, thereby saving customers time. When the ship sinks, Thrust actuates at a depth of not more than 4 meters, when the blade cuts the rope from the linkage of the Liferafts. THRUST HRU has a new separate weak link design, making the breaking strain more stable. 

THRUST HRU does not require any annual service or any spare parts. With a service life of 2 years, you DO NOT PAINT simply need to replace the old HRU with a new one.
