SHM's range of Throw Over-Board Liferafts are manufactured to the highest quality standards, under close supervision of international classification societies. Standard SOLAS Liferafts are available in capacities of 6,10, 15,20 & 25 persons to suit the vessel’s safety plan and are designed to function in adverse sea conditions (-30C to +60C). 

Key Features

  • Comply with SOLAS LSA Code 96 including the latest amendments in the year 2010 i.e. MSC Res.218(82), 226(82), .293(87) & 295(87)). 
  • Approved by the Directorate General of Shipping India and
    Ministry of Surface Transport, which is both
    representative bodies of the Govt. of India. 
  • Manufactured from polyester neoprene-coated fabric that complies with MSC Resolution 81/70 for excellent weather resistance and permeability. 
  • Two buoyancy chambers ensure that with the failure of one, the other provides sufficient buoyancy to carry passengers safely.
  • Drop tested for maximum stowage height of 35
    meters.
