Key Features

1) Rigid Structure

The inside vertical structure of the BOULDER Transfer baskets is covered with synthetic foam and tarpaulin for the protection of passengers. 

2) Welding

All weldings shall be performed by certified welders and by procedures approved by DNVGL.

3) Non-Skid Surface

All entrances/exits and floors are fitted with non-skid patterns to ensure safe entrance and exit.

4) Top Net & Float

Top-net for protection of drop objects. Floating fender top and bottom. fully penetrant tested. 

5) Lifting Sling Set Boulder

Transfer are delivered with a lifting sling & compensator, covered with a highly visible material. The compensator serves as a tagline, helping to control the basket by the crane operator. Lifting set length: 3m or 5m.

6) Rope Webbing

Four rope webbings, made of spliced rope, are attached to the upper and lower structure. The rope webbings provide extra safety for personnel inside the basket.

7) Closing Straps

Rope webbings are fitted with fast click buckle straps ensuring fast and easy exit. Options available. 

8) Shock/Impact Protection

Fender to protect passenger for harmful deceleration by Landing, and if the basket is subjected toa lateral impact due to swinging against an obstruction.
